Coeur Noir was founded in 2003 as a letterpress studio focused on fine art printing. Soon after, we started receiving requests for commercial & personal projects, and made the decision to take those projects on with the condition that they be held to the same standards to which we hold our fine-art work. We’ve since expanded the scope of our services to include foil stamping, spot-color offset lithography, embossing / debossing, 4 color process printing and a number of specialty finishing techniques. Today our fine-art work can be found in the collections of the Smithsonian & other notables, and aside from our amazing commercial clientele, we've had the privilege of being part of thousands of marriages & just as many personal projects.
